The Fort McMurray Oil Barons open the 2016-2017 AJHL season tonight against the Grande Prairie Storm at home at the Casman Centre.

Former MOB player and St. Louis Blues defenceman Colton Parayko took some time out of his busy schedule at the World Cup of Hockey to talk about his time in Fort McMurray. He also talks about what it’s like to play on such a skilled Team North America.

Also on the show Friday morning was newly signed Fort McMurrayite Brandon Ralph who spent the last three seasons in the WHL. Ralph won a Memorial Cup in 2014 with the Edmonton Oil Kings and spent last year with the Everett Silvertips. He talked about his excitement of playing in his hometown and what it was like growing up watching the MOB.
