Quiet Riot Drummer Frankie Banali Passes Away At 68

We just can’t seem to catch a break this year as 2020 takes another rockstar away from us; Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali passed away yesterday (August 20th) at the age of 68 from stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Banali was battling pancreatic cancer after being diagnosed with it in April last year. He was given only 6 months to live, but he showed that he wouldn’t go quietly by putting up a brave fight for 16 months. He is survived by his loving wife Regina, daughter Ashley, and a menagerie of rescue animals, all of whom are considered to be family.

He is mourned by friends and fans alike across the globe as well. Donations to these charitable organizations in his name are encouraged if you want to show your support: Fixnation.org, Aspca.org, Pancan.org, or Children.org

Banali’s wish for everyone was to be “…your own health advocate for early detection so you may live long and rescue many animals.” RIP Frankie Banali.
