This is is getting serious

WestJet has announced that as of March 5th, 11 flights in Alberta will be cut. The majority are flights between Edmonton and Calgary, but services to and from Fort McMurray will be reduced as the airliner focuses more of its’ business in Eastern Canada.

By summer, WestJet and its discount carrier Encore will operate some 4,590 flights per week to 101 destinations — 38 in Canada, 27 in the US, 33 in the Caribbean and Mexico and three in Europe.

Comments online have ranged from “too high of prices forcing empty seats”, to “convenience” …
