It isn’t easy being green.

The voice actor of Kermit the Frog was let go last week.

Steve Whitmire has been the voice of everyone’s favouite frog since 1990.

Both parties had remained silent about why Whitmire was released…until now.

The Muppets Studio stated Whitmire was let go due to “unacceptable business conduct over a period of many years.”

The daughter of Jim Henson went a step further, saying Whitmire played the lovable Kermit as “bitter, angry depressed victim,” who hasn’t been “funny or fun” in years.

That certainly doesn’t sound like Kermit!
